  1. Hear, Hear! It really makes my blood boil the way people under appreciate the school library and librarian. I try and take every opportunity (or create them) to tell the school I work in what I do and what I offer and try and make sure this is going out to the wider community as well. The service provided by a degree qualified professional cannot be replaced by an assistant or volunteer no matter how keen and enthusiastic they are but we need to make our voice heard about this issue or more school libraries will quietly disappear or be left to slowly rot.
